This conference aims to disseminate information on the marine biodiversity
of Belize and what the people of Belize stand to lose in the face of imminent oil exploration in their waters. We hope that Belizeans will use this information
to vote responsibly in the upcoming national referendum
which will decide the fate of their barrier reefs.
